Community Outreach
Our food pantry, clothing drive, and neighborhood partnerships serve hundreds of families on the South Side each year. Volunteers gather every Saturday morning.

Chancel Choir
Our chancel choir leads the congregation in sacred music each Sunday, rehearsing after worship and once more during the week to prepare. New voices are always welcome.
Film Group
A casual movie night followed by discussion on the themes and faith questions each film raises.

A monthly discussion of a shared book, blending great conversation with fellowship and coffee.

Genesis Journey is a community of adults at all stages of life who come together through faith, friendship, and shared experiences. We believe meaningful friendships and genuine connections are an important part of our journey of faith. Through fellowship, recreation, fun and innovative activities, spiritual growth, service, outreach, and church events and ministries, we create opportunities to build relationships, make new friends, grow together, and strengthen our connection to one another, our church, and our community. Whether we're trying something new, serving others, exploring our faith, or simply enjoying time together, Genesis Journey is about doing life and faith together.
Touched by Grace
Rooted in Friendship, Connected in Faith
Touched by Grace began as a community of young adults who built lasting friendships through their connection to Morgan Park UMC. While the group has evolved over the years, those friendships and connections remain at the heart of Touched by Grace. Today, members come together around opportunities to support the church through fundraising, special events, fellowship, and service. Touched by Grace also works alongside others in the church, sharing time, talents, and relationships to support opportunities that bring our church community together.
Working Together
Touched by Grace and Genesis Journey share a commitment to fellowship, service, and strengthening the life of Morgan Park UMC. Members of both groups regularly come together to support church events, fundraising, service, and other opportunities that bring people together. Sometimes one group takes the lead, sometimes the other, and often we work side by side. Together, we share our ideas, relationships, time, and talents to help our church thrive.
